The Five Bells is a 17th Century traditional “Chocolate Box” Freehouse Inn in the rolling Berkshire countryside. Steeped in charm and full of character, this lovely old inn is undergoing a full refurbishment by the new owners in May 2012, after many years of neglect.

Serving an ever changing selection of at least 8 of the country’s finest Ales, some local, all well kept, some very unusual and some old favourites, but we will only serve the best that Britain’s finest brewers have to offer. We will keep you updated on our current offering with forthcoming beers on this website, via twitter @thefivebellswickham and on our facebook page, The Five Bells, and on our blackboards in the pub.

We will also always be serving at least four draught scrumpys, Leffe Blonde on draught, and a range of at least 30 Belgian Beers by the bottle. Giving us by far the best selection of beer and cider in the area! Oh, and an eclectic, balanced and well priced wine list, and a large selection of the finest single malts and some award winning spirits as well as the usual favourites, so something for everyone.

We will also be serving some superb food to go with our beers, ciders, wines and spirits, ranging from wood fired Pizzas, made using a dough made by us to an old, secret Sicilian family recipe baked simply in our specially designed wood fired pizza ovens, and superb local steaks and our range of superb lovingly made “proper” pies as well as lots of pub favourites.
